Default Fancy some serious fun ?

Fancy starting rallying ? this baby is what you want.

Proper piece of kit and NOTHING can compete to the point it's been banned from certain rallies.

Volume ++

Ah, Andy Burton's Pug Cosworth. A truely awesome car and my personal favourite on the British rallying scene.

Andy was entered to run the car on the National event in Wales Rally GB (Fri/Sat stages) but unfortunately the engine went on the previous event. Despite all efforts it couldn't be fixed in time (its basically an engine out of a DTM car!) and the car has now been retired from rallying events

A truely awesome car

Some photos i've taken over the last couple of years of the car.

And this is probably my favourite video which shows the true sound of the Pug Cossie. Listen to the first few minutes with the volume up, the difference in noise is awesome

not just banned from certain rallies, it no longer complies full stop.....................

it actually started life as basically an update to a Metro 6R4 with newer bodywork but over the yeasr has also gained various mechanical improvments/upgrades the biggest change being using an ex DTM Opel Cosworth V6 engine

more info here http://www.peugeot-cosworth.co.uk/

Must admit I just watched it again with volume pretty high, sitting back with eyes shut and enjoyed it AS MUCH

At 1 min 12 sec the thing sounds insane pulling away from the camera.

Yes a previous car had a Ferrari engine in it.

I actually think the car in its current form sounds the best, its a real screamer and you can hear it for miles when out in the forests

Awesome car, made all the better in that it was build by a bloke in a shed and often managed to embarass cars costing many times more. Pity the MSA have now called time on space frame cars.

Still, its not all bad news as rumour has it Andy Burton is working on something new now...
