Default Biggest muck up of 2012!!!!

Thought this might cheer everyone up seems to have done with everyone one my firm.
Picture it first day back at work after 3 weeks off all fresh faced and eager to get on.
New job starts removal of escalators at topshops flagship store in Oxford circus. Working away all fine swapping holiday stories with the lads whilst working on the escalator. Next thing I know there's an almighty bang and water is gushing up 30ft in the air me being a k@#b had trodden on the sprinkler pipe and set it off. Letting thousands and thousands of litres of water into there store. Which is rammed with customers!!
Didn't know how to turn it off and it was 25min before someone managed to do it. Phew i thought the water has drained away. Wrong what's underneath?? There stockroom which is currently filled with £400,000 worth of stuff. F@#k!! I thought quietly to myself. It don't stop there adjacent to the stock room is London underground! (if your Tain is late or cancelled today I'm sorry.
To put this into prospective last week the fire alarm went off and everyone was evacuated and from going out and back in was an hour andcost the builder £47,000.
Won't know the full cost or damage for a few days but I'll let all know. And now I'm the but off all the jokes. So do your best I've herd quite a lot today.
What a start to the new year. Hahahaha

lol excellent, your not the only one fella, when i used to work in tescos years ago they were doing a refit and one of the highlifts managed to knock the end of the mains to the sprinkler system. pressurised water gushing everywhere for 20mins, managed to flood the whole store lol

Think I've been very lucky and some one is looking down on me. It's been 48hrs and no one knows where the water has gone. Not bad considering at least 6000 litres came out.

Good effort!

The bakerloo Line is probably 7 feet under water!
