Default fuel gauges

hi, can anyone help me? fuel gauge reading low but i have just put 30 quids worth of petrol in.this has happenedf before where gauge was oh half when 30 quid put in.light still comes on when need to top up.

I dont know about your scoob.

But my scoob is the only car that I've owned,

When you fill it up it takes longer to get to the full mark,

Than it does from full to empty..

same here BIG "E" although the light turns off straight away, do you mean the needle is stuck in the same place even though you have put more fuel in?

thanks m8,needle is in different positions but not reading true.some times reading high, but fuel should be low,very annoying any ideas much appreciated thx.

My guess is sticking sender unit in the tank. Remove the pump assembly via the boot and have a look.
