Default Anything else?

Basically next Thursday my car is going in to get the shocks replaced for brand new ones. Firstly can anyone recommend a good oe brand? And as of to day it's only just started to knock on one side. So will replacing the shocks cure the knock or is the something else that needs sorting? I would go aftermarket and take her of stilts but the road into work is that bad I get 7mph if I'm rushing. It's that bad! Lol but rumor has it it's getting sorted just before summer. When it's done no doubt I'll be asking your advice on aftermarket stuff.

Mine knocked and replaced the shocks and springs, knock disappeared.

Would recommend KYB Ultra SR shocks to replace your OE ones if you're not going the cooler route, have a look on camskill for prices. If you having the whole lot replaced, it's worth changing the springs too as the wrx springs are a bit poo. Have a look at options from eibach, twin or prodrive.

Not really botherd about cost as my rebate is paying for it. I will be goin the cooler route but not untill the road is done. Really isn't worth the risk (allready cost me 5 tyres).
Got a quote of £469 all in but I'm only doing the rear. Is that abit steep? Tried getting hold of Slowboy racing but no luck yet.
