Default Rear Light options for a bug

Just wondering if anyone would mind posting up their rear lights on their bugeyes, I am looking to change mine but not a huge fan of the OEM ones either just wondering what options are out there!
I kinda like the look of the hawk sti ones but they're not grabbing me massively either im picky!

Mine with standard lights:

And then with blobeye lights:

Not an exact fit, you need to remove a little bit of foam on the back of the blob light, and the circular bit overlaps the bodywork, but its certainly nothing you'd notice!

Most of the aftermarket ones are pretty poo imo although Nick (bluebugeye) has probably the nicest aftermarket ones around.

These are mine (came with car). Luckily I really like them, although I accept they're not to everyone's tastes!

They would also fit as the hawk ones in your pic are completely interchangeable with the blobeye ones. The bugeyes were different, but as I said they can be made to fit reasonably well.

Alternatively, come along to a meet and have a look at the different options for yourself

Funny thing is though the Morettes you have on now are probably the most expensive lights available for the car!

True! To be honest if I change them I'll probably keep them because of the cars history, may be a selling point one day in the future that Morette used to own it. Plus I wouldn't even know where to start on the value of them.

Your do look awesome, liking the clear bootlid too. Also which towbar is that? I like how hidden it is

Whenever you're ready to sell it I'll be interested, like the fact I can see how it'll look already!

That sounds good to me, can I take them please?

Wondering whether to sell or keep the morettes, does anyone know what they're roughly worth? I plan on keeping the car a while so if they go for silly money might as well sell them to put the proceeds back into the car!

I've never seen the rears for sale and there are none on fleabay at the moment, genuine second front lights go for over a couple of hundred quid.... it might be worth keeping them then if you do sell the car stick the morettes back on and sell the blob ones separately??

Good point Tomma, that sounds like a plan!

I should be ok for the bumper, just had mine painted a bit when i had the other bodywork done so gotta keep it a bit. I'm just selling an old 1987 scirocco at the minute when that goes was planning on booking in for a remap, could get the lights then or could paypal/bank transfer now if you prefer?

Simply will not fit like light and bumper, because lights are specific on New age wagons and bumpers too(on New age WRX and STI rear is wider than on wagon, rear on wagon is too narrow)
