Default Onboard GoPro Test Video 1

Wanted to test several things namely the external mike, camera mount, camera setting, mike positioning etc.

Many improvements needed including removal of air freshener flapping about in the background, opt for wide screen and try to sort out the HD side of things
Wind noise needs a look at too.

Have a slight misfire between 6 - 8K rpm so boost is running at half power in the video (1Br)

And with a mini tunnel run,

Those cameras certainly are a nice bit of kit.

I used the Haige suction cup Steve. That's an awesome bit of kit that thing.

It looks like a suction cup mark on my windscreen but yesterday I braked hard and Hev hit the windscreen with her mouth open

Tomma:
I done some research on external mics as they produce a much better sound than the fixed mic in the GoPro. It sounds okay without an external mic but the sound quality is far poorer.

I had the mic hanging from the camera and clipped to my camera bag on the passenger seat.

I should have upped the side windows a bit to eliminate some of the wind noise.

Next up will be the camera mounted on the outside and the mic in car.

Still playing but will get it right eventually

Sounded very good compared to most you hear from incar mic's, I know you can get those 'dead cat' wind shields for them but I've never seen one that's small enough not to raise some eyebrows!
