Default Japfest 2013

Can't see any Japfest pictures up here yet, so I thought I'd throw some up for you...

One of my fave cars of the day, grey(ish) kanjo-style Civic…

…really don’t think this picture does it justice, but you get the idea.

I’m not a massive 300SX fan, but this chap was making them look really good…

…according to the commentator he was initiating his drifts round Quarry corner at over 100 MPH: it looked like it!

Happy MX5:

Interesting drifting line part 1:

Another fave…

Definitely my fave colour for the GT86:

Interesting drifting line part 2:

Not sure what this was, it was on the MX5 stand so maybe MX5 based?...

300SX on the attack again:

Aside from the JPP Celica (which I was gawping at so much I forgot to photograph ), this was my fave old school car of the day:

And thats my lot!

Not bad at all; from the start of the line to driving onto our patch ended up being just under an hour.

When we joined the back of the queue the sat nav said we were about 3 miles out. It took us nearly half an hour to move 0.1 of a mile and I was fearing a very long wait, then the queue started to flow and didn't stop until we got in. There was a crash right by the front gate and I think thats what caused the initial lack of movement.

I thought the new traffic system worked a lot better than last year.

I'm honestly not sure on that. It was harder to gauge the number of "general public" there as the public car park was over the road, so their number may have been lower, but I thought there were just as many clubs and club cars there as last year.

The queues for the burger vans were bigger than last year, thats for sure!
