Anyone know which of the classics came with closed deck blocks as standard?

Models that came with closed deck block + engine code are:

WRX A/B; EJ20GDW1HD (no A/C), EJ20GDW1HE (with A/C)
STI Ver. I; EJ20GDW1HD (no A/C), EJ20GDW1HE (with A/C)
WRX A Type RA; EJ20GDW1HJ (no A/C), EJ20GDW1HR (with A/C)
WRX B Type RA; EJ20GDW2HJ
WRX C Type RA; EJ20GDW4HJ
WRX STi Ver. II Type RA ; EJ20GDW5PE

all of the early cars had CDB's as std from the first Leggy Turbo in 1989 until around 93ish when they started using open deck blocks in the v2'ish Impreza's.............

it wasn't anything unusual originally
