Question clutch

can anyone tell me if the clutch self adjusts?? iv had new engine and box fitted with a excedy clutch but its started to slipp....the bite on the pedal is quite late or high.... could it be adjusted wrong on the slave cylinder i,e the clutch isnt fully clearing...is the lever adjustable???

slipping would indcate worn fricton pate adjustment normally works the other way ie not enough peddle to fully opperate clutch
