Hello fellow Scooby owners.

I'm a long time owner of a WRX, MY03, owned since new in 2003 and soon to be replaced by a brand new STI MY16 - hopefully in a few weeks. I have no complaints about my WRX I just fancied it was time for a change, it's been rock solid and never let me down - perhaps that's due to being low mileage as it's only done 86,000Km (approx 53,500 miles). I expect to do the same with the new one.

I live in Luxembourg but I'm born and bred from Tunbridge Wells, hence why I came to your forums. I try and get back to the UK a few times a year and always try to drive so I can enjoy the English countryside in my Scoob (when it's not clogged up with rush-hour traffic). Unfortunately the days of being able to zip through speed scameras without caring is long gone now that they chase you all over the continent for payment - "damn you Brussels!".

I always try to look out for fellow Scooby drivers and do "the wave", but being in a left-hooker on UK roads means I sometimes don't see you until it's too late, so apologies to anyone if I don't wave back on my trips back.

Cheers,
Fernando

Thanks all for the welcome.

I intend to take new pictures of my old and new Scoobies when I go to pick up the new one, and will post those. I want have them posed together as a memento.

Sure, that would be grand - I've been a few times with an old friend, but never actually driven it amazingly enough seeing as it's only 2hrs away from me.

When are you next meeting up? I assume you all stop in Luxembourg for some cheap fuel like the rest of Europe does

Sure, will be back middle of May - just hoping the weather is good. Haven't been to Frant in a long time, will have to look up the exact location on the sat nav.

Oh, and welcome to forums as well
