Brakes
Had the brakes apart today & changed pads to Ferodo DS3000 & wow what a pad. Very pleased. While i was there i cleaned painted or pollished everythng in sight. Took the car out for a spin over Camber way to bed the pad's in. At 130kph you can lock the bloody wheels if you want. Thanks Neil for the heads up.

Thats interesting as I was about to order mine. Was thinking of Performance Friction, but have heard the DS3000's are good. Will look into costs etc.

Performance Friction are very good! The choice is yours. The DS like a bit of heat in them first. I found with the PF's they work straight away.

Is your ABS not working then or are Evos that advanced yet.
Lucky for your kind of driving the I would have thought the PFs will be. But like everything its down to personal choice.

Surely all done on a private road.
Had two sets of DS3000's and was well happy. There're the fast road pads are they not? Roo |

I'm happy with the 2500's you can fade them on track (just) but slightly nicer on the road.

Generally, a Mod or Admin would have contacted you / amended the post. Just because of the potential of being watched. Hence my post in the "Roads to drive in this country" in this country stating that we could find roads that test you within the legal road limits. Thanks for posting this though Nige, as it's a good heads up for everyone to think before they post their exploits |

Without doubt, Neil is the "Ringmaster".
But on "Niges Hill" only Nige can turn a 2 lane German "A" road into a 3 lane German "A" road. Nige has got a set of kahoonas like a Tyranosaurus! |
