Default Wyedean Rally - 12th Feb (photos)

Yesterday was another day out in the trees, but this time in the Forest of Dean. Lovely weather, sunshine all day

Some pics for the rally fans amongst us.... got to 3 stages and overall thought it was a decent event for my first time going. Met up with a mate off scoobynet who's local so had a bit of inside knowledge of where to go (or not go!).

Chepstow Park

Great snaps Steve , South Down Stages were very good , some serious escorts there. Roll on Sunseeker.

Unfortunately i missed the red evo as it rolled - i was the closest person to it and i felt the need to stop taking photos and move quickly just in case it wiped me out The second pic is after the first roll (you can see the roof damage and glass breaking from the drivers side window).

Its a Canon 400D, most shots taken with a Sigma 70-300mm lens.

Yep, Sunseeker should be good. Has Andy Burton entered again? He was amazingly fast yesterday and won the event - the car didn't break down for once!

I don't think anyone really knows when Burton will properly retire the Pug Cosworth. Everyones talking about hows he's got a Fiesta shell (S2000 car?) to build up but who knows when that'll be finished.

In terms of keeping it quiet.... i only decided to go on Thursday, and didn't think many on here would be interested in a 4am start

Great set of pictures again mate. That shot of the S6 Impreza on Speech House is superb. The rolling Evo looks a bit to close for comfort though!

Got me more excited for Sunseeker now!

Fantastic pics mate. The Evo pic is epic & it's an MR you can just make out the ribs in the roof. Thats alloy so lot's of ££££ to put that right. Right place right time well done. Would really like a copy of that one.

Hi,

Just looked through and despite taking over 500 photos, i didn't get any of you. The entry list was so good this year that there was no way to watch everyone come through before moving on to the next stage and seeing the quickest guys again.
