Ha! Ha! Scooby engine in an Evo NEVER! There was a Scooby with an Evo engine in it on the MLR & i think it kept the Scooby box.
VW beetles & Camper vans is a common conversion. Old Alfa's was another [if they still had a body left]
Oh one of them Suzuki rascal van's.

There are a few RS200 replica's based on the classic Impreza. They look pretty good but *picky hat on* they all sit far too high and, perhaps most importantly, the engine is in the wrong place! Still a pretty cool idea though (and a damn site cheaper then a real RS200!)

Funnily enough I saw a conversation on EJ20 usage on Facebook the other day, one of the people mentioned these guys:

http://www.sakereurope.com/6/Catalog/default.ecms

Never heard of them before, but their cars look mental and are EJ20 powered!

There was a chap on the Turbosport forum who was trying to graft an Escort Mexico body to a classic Impreza chassis. I'm sure the project was brought by another person on the forum, but I haven't been on there for ages, so I've no idea if it got finished or not. I'll have to log on again and have another look!

Aside from cars there are also a number of microlights that utilise the EJ20 and also the Aerokopter helicopter which uses the EJ25.

You saying that has just reminded me of this:

http://www.sdrsportscars.co.uk/home.html

Atom-ish, three seats and Boxer powered! (And was road tested by Vikki-Butler Henderson, which is why I remembered it! )
