Default Round 1 PSDS

As some of you know ive entered this again this year and it was the first round Sunday, i got there nice and early but had problems with the car with heat.... 94 at track level

A few pics

Lining up with a good friends Skyline

As said the car wasnt playing game and the launch control decided to jam on, after 6 runs i just couldnt do any decent times, problem wasnt helped by the fact i kept on selecting 6th instead of 4th... crossed the line at 89mph lol

The last run i let the car roll and then launched... wasted some time but got off the line clean and did a 13 dead, most weekends i would have been disapointed but as i never broke out of the 13-14sec class i won it.

So 10 points and a trophy to celebrate a annoying weekend

James

Good times - I've got a portable A/C unit for home I don't need - how about running it through the car like on the F1 grids with the heaters but in reverse!

Im not sure... the problem with drag is keeping the oil warm and under bonnet temps down, having a bonnet vent wouldnt help this when the car is sitting still and is not near the air filter, plenty of other cars running fine without bonnet scoops

Well done mate

On the heat side it might not be any help but have you thought about a co2 kit to keep things chilli?
