Default Sumo Dan Here!

Hello Guys and Girls,

My name is Dan, I work for Sumo Power. I am interested in getting Sumo trading on the Forum so thought I would get online and check it out

I am a massive fan of Scoobies, we are currently building the Sumo Demo GC8 car with lots of goodies on it. I will post some pics up soon. Its not going to be a full on track car or time attack car, just a nicely put together street car.

I am still unsure why Sumo Are not on here anyway as we are in the South East?.... Anyhoo I am sure one of the Mods can help me out with who I need to speak to about getting set up

Hi Mate and welcome to SES

I'm sure we can sort something out for you. I know doing something with you guys has been in the pipeline for a long time. But it has never happened for some strange reason.

I get the impression that a couple of guys on here have tried to put stuff your way recently, but been slightly let down by way of communication. Hopefully, having a point of contact on the forum would help both of our causes.

Cheers mate

Steve

Agree, we have tried to make contact a few times and although initial feedback/response from Sumo seems positive there is little follow up.

We would like Sumo to attend JapBash at Bentley wildfowl in Sept with a car or 2.
We would aslo like a venue for a Rolling Road Day, Wheel Alignment and paintless dent removal (we can provide the dent technician, we just need a venue that can support parking of 20+ cars).
In the past we have combined wheel alignment (not full geo) and a paintless dent guy into one event/saturday.

We have tried all of the above via Sumo and TBH from the email trail I saw regarding a RR day, you require most of the staff on site on a saturday to support the above...I am not sure why so many people would be required.

From that, the SES feeling was that you are too big to be interested in supporting our events so we stopped persuing you.

If you can turn this around to boths benefit then that would be great.

Thank you for the welcomes firstly

Well hopefully I am the man to turn this around, I have seen a few emails floating about but assumed this was being taken care of! I am keen to make this happen now.

Ok lets get the ball rolling with this one and build some bridges

So for a start I Guess we need to get trading, then can organise the days as you requested? I can organise people to be here and hopefully get some rough dates if you can let me know when is best for you guys?

I will be at Japfest this weekend if anyone wanted to come have a chat about it a bit further.

Indeed I would like to rectify some of the Negative feedback so I feel it's only right to get on the Forum and start giving people a much more better service. I hope that we can achieve this.

In the meantime if anyone has any questions please let me know

Thanks Dan

I'm sure our guys will be in touch to try and get something off the ground with you.

A few members from this site will be at Japfest, including a mod or two. We will try to steer them in your direction if we can for a brief chat.
