Default will it affect clifford alarm??

hi guys!!
ive just put in a new maf an been told need to reset ecu, so guna disconnect battery over night?
Does anybody know if this will cause probs for my clifford alarm??
I have tried phoning clifford but no luck getting through to someone who can help lol

On my old Clifford concept 50 it had a service mode that allowed you to disconnect battery but that was way back and my befuddled brain cannot remember how I did it

You'll be fine, mine had no batt for a month.

I took my batt out to clean the engine bay and had no probs when I reinstalled it a day later. You should be fine.

if you have a new-age car as per your profile pic then taking the battery off does NOR re-set the ECU (this only works on classics)

you need a diagnostic reader to reset........

I wonder if taking mine off then has reset it. Think it was running totally standard and never mapped though.

Iirc the rest will not affect the base map whether its std or remapped.
