Heads up guys, looks like the M25 is shut clockwise from M23 round to J8 or J9

For those meeting at Pease Pottage, do so as planned - we'll go across to Horsham and then up the A24 i guess.

thanks for a good day, i was happy the car made it through it's run. 135 k miles on clock, just put a backbox on, other than that a standard wrx bugeye wagon, got 238 bhp.

Sorry Rich, i should have drop you a message to give you a heads up but with all the hassles of getting there ourselves this morning it completely slipped my mind

Thanks to everyone that did come along, ended up with exactly 10 cars which was lucky fortunate, 1 less and it would have cost everyone another fiver.

Some good results, mine was a little down on power but a decat and remap soon will sort that. Somehow i've managed to lose 10 horses since it was last on the rollers about 4 years ago!

I was well impressed with my leggy wagon. 300.1hp, not bad for a fuel pump and a secondary decat. Was a good day out!

Good day, thoroughly enjoyed it as did the Mrs which is a bonus as it means I can get to more stuff without her moaning Very happy with my results, need a map tweak soon which will be done. Good to meet those who were there, great bunch. Thank you to who ever organised it all. I will post my graphs up in a bit. Cheers, Stu.

Damn, pass on our apologies next time you see him. Will have to consider options in the future like having a deposit for these kind of things, not fair on Charlie to get told we've got 15 on the list for only 9 to turn up.

But other than that and the M25, a good day, and great to meet some of the new members on here

doesnt look to be.. no tell tales on the power and torque curves..

potential for more torque and power with correct fuelling I feel.

Worth checking there is no inlet pipe splits at all just in case.

Simon

Yes mate to the fuelling, I'll be in touch with you in a few weeks to get it sorted out

Timing was spot on mate, I know nothing about the technical side like this so I'm only repeating what Charlie told me. Said it was a bit lean but nothing to worry about. Obviously needs sorting though. Would octane booster lean it out at all? Run three tank fills with it now specifically for this day as when it was mapped, it was running it then so wanted to be as close to the same running as possible. Haven't got anymore though so now back on standard V. Other than the cold air feed, it's the same as when i bought it and to the best of my knowledge, been running this way for 2 1/2 years or more......

no octane booster wont lean it out.. methonal or ethonal would though.

its leaner than ideal the whole rev range so unlikely to be fuel pump or the like imho...

Happy to help

Ok mate cool, still getting to grips with the technical side to it so everybody's input is appreciated

You didn't map it originally ( GRD did it 5 1/2 years ago) so do you think a 'tweak' will be adequate or would you prefer to remap it?

Happy with the power output as standard as Charlie said the early prodrive packs aren't that good, but have some gremlins in the system that need sorting asap!
Flywheel power,

Air Fuel Ratio,

I don't like the look of that AFR plot. it looks like the MAF is failing and not metering air correctly above 4500rpm. AFR should be low 11's or even high 10''s on a subaru or prodrive map. For the price of a MAF at £80 its gotta be worth swapping out especially if still on the original.

That's what Charlie said, also said be best to fit a walbro pump and new maf sensor.
Going to get a standard dump valve, panel filter and look into getting a remap eventually to sort it out!
Charlie said the state it's in at the moment no heavy boosting especially over 5500rpm unless I wanted a really close up look at my pistons!

The good thing about RR days is you can see little potential problems that you might have so you don't get the big ones.

My power run graphs, for some reason the car has never made the power it should have. this was not as bad a the last time but not as good as when it was mapped:

Charlie said I could possibly have a blocked or broken up Cat/silencer which is causing the low power figure.

To me it looks lean and the has pulled a little timing at higher rpm possible due to det
