Luckily, due to the gearbox / dif problem, I am taking the ubercruiser. Captain reliable

I will still however get maximum cover. Just because you can't trust other people in powder blue cars not to kill you

That is a good lap for sure, did you notice he went onto the grass in almost exactly the same spot as the Porkie that crashed?

Seen the biker one before, I'm sure he used to say "Evo Driver" before though

Must have been re-dubbed by the MLR

Evo driver indeed. To be honest i would of thought Porche. I know it wasn't in this case but they do cause & are involved in allot of the crashes there. Well besides the Scoobs spinning about & setting on fire that is

I like this banter before we set off, it was like this last year, just with a bit more nervousness in it.

Bloody Porsches and M3 are probably the main cause of a lot of crashes there, due to the amount of the old "Sausage Munchers" who get there at the weekends.

modified/ lowered cars. Rac have used
many times before with mates cars etc
and they have been briliant every time!

Make sure you phone what ever ins comp your with as fully comp here will not cover you over there. I think it drops to 3rd party only unless you organize it with your comp 1st. Subaru drivers just keep recovery tell numbers to hand please as it got embarrassing last year

The one car I would love to have seen down there (apart from Martyn obviously) would have been Rich (dukeboy) That would have looked the nuts going round the Ring.

Next time Rich

Oh Fantastic!, That will be cool. Fingers crossed then. Nothing atall against the M3, they are awesome cars, but the more scoobs for the trip, the better.

For sure mate. The only caveat to that is if Martyn wants a lift down. I wouldn't put him through the torture of the scooby.

I would be more than happy to take Martyn in a nice comfy WR1 with standard suspension.

I am taking his last years drinking buddy.

That way you can quite happily bring yours Worzel , no excuses now, fingers crossed it will be fixed.

There is a newbie coming to the ring. His name is Jimmy he built my engine @ JRM top man & mental in a car. He may bring his own car an Alfa 156 or an Evo X if he can borrow it . He went out there last weekend to oversee his Lotus 211 @ the gp circuit then he went next door had a go around the ring in a R/Rover & was hooked. He has Crowmans ferry booking. Also Jaffas mate Paul Egerton is looking for a passenger seat in someones car.
