Default Stange going's on

Not sure what or why its happening, but im sure you lot will

Under normal driving my speedo works fine,no matter what speed im going, though i have a problem under quick acceleration, say going from 3rd-4th a bit sharpish, the speedo goes back to zero, but if i let my foot up a bit,or simply change up a gear,it goes back upto the speed im doing..
i have no hesitation or lack of beans, she runs (touch wood) like a dream..

Any idea's peeps????

Do you have a G-Force dash retainer installed ?
If you haven't that could be the problem.

Could either be the electronic speed converter or mechanical speed converter depending on what is fitted when it was imported.
Or
It could be the speed module on the back of the dash/speedo that converts the electronic signal from the gearbox to the mechanical sweep of the speedo.

It is likley to be the latter as the other two tend to cause it to throw a Check Engine Light warnings and go into limp mode when they fail
