Default burning oil

hi wonder if you can help, i had an oil leak which has been sealed was leeking from rear baffle plate and oil was re-topped up since then i have noticed my oil isn't registering on the dipstick regardless if i check the day after the car has been driven and when i do a wot pull i get grey/blue smoke out the back so i am assuming this is a ring issue anyway to confirm that its burning oil except do the usual compression and leakdown tests
