I used to get this every month about 10 years ago, I loved it and my RS Turbo was in there twice! I had a flick through one recently and my god it was awful, shame but I cant say I'm surprised it got canned.

Jeeeesus!

Thats the trouble with (a) so many choices and (b) the internet.

As most of you know, I run a print company. My print runs are shrinking all the time. I lost a £100k + Per Annum, weekly magazine job, which went on line!

The start of the end for the written word I fear

Newspapers - Read Online
Cd's - Download online
Films - Download online
Books - Download online
Shopping - Online

It is the way everything is now, if i want a new tv, I find the one i want in the showroom to make sure it is good, then buy it online. It is easier and cheaper, and with all the piracy for games, films, music, books etc it will only get worse.

Thing is if you buy a mag thats just full (cover to cover) of the same ads every month, its not going to sell.

I remember the first edition, 1987 or 1988 at a guess. it included a purple Dimma bodykitted Pug 205GTI, which was all the rage back then.

I havn't bought a copy for about 8 years.

I think Redline mag done the right thing. 2 years ago it was v.similar to Max Power, but is now quite technical and all about performance improvements and less about Tit's and Bling.
