Default A Rather Special Impreza Up For Auction

Exactly as the thread title says, a rather special Impreza is up for auction next month: Impreza WRC chassis #001:

http://www.classicandperformancecar....ads-to-auction

Estimated value at £175,000 - 200,000. Reckon they'd do a straight swap for an '05 STi?

Certainly a classic worth owning, maybe not for driving though, definite collectors item.

If I remember rightly the original article I read on the restoration of the car mentioned that it had been mapped to run on 99 ron fuel, so it's already the perfect daily!

if your commute doesn't exceed the 1000km life/rebuild limit of the engine and most other components........

Yeah I know still never got why, must be something to do with number of countries visited that drive on the wrong side.

Sitting on the wrong side of the car to drive it takes a bit of getting used too, I keep thinking the handbrake is in the door stowage pocket...
