Default at last!!!!

Time to end the 'Lucky, how much longer' thread at last!.

Picked this up today. Only got a few quick snaps but there will be more to follow as it takes shape.

JDM WRX STI WAGON.

Some of you know the car as its been in 'the club' previously and was absolutely immaculate a few years ago. She is now in need of a bit of tlc, nothing major, just a few bits of paint to the front bumper and side skirts, but otherwise I think it will come up well once its been given the treatment.

There is loads of history, so I am getting a good idea of whats been done and its only covered 65,000 miles.

Seems to go pretty well too!!!

Nice one Steve, great to see it on your driveway i bet. Got a weekend of tinkering planned then?

Looked in great nick when I saw it last summer. Whats the plan for the wheels? (can see a nasty pot hole impact on the front passenger side )

Lots of tinkering!.

I am going to get the wheel in question checked. The outer lip has buckled slightly, but looks like its just the lip so may even knock back, but if need be I can change one or all of the wheels, though I do think they suit the car really well. The car drives fine with no noticable pulling or knocking from the front, so hopefully its a cheap fix. When it went down the pothole it also clipped the splitter as the car is very low, and has pulled the bumper away slightly, though again not that noticable. All things I can get done in time.

Nope, took a look at it earlier in the week as the old owner was having to stump up a hefty excess so was happy to take it off the price if I was happy to sort it.

love it always loved wagons, A little jealous!! reminding me of my old one.
This one looks to be very nice, its quite rare to find nice STI wagons with lots of history and few miles as not that many have been imported, time to change your avatar?

Indeed mate and Thank you! The offer of a swap for yours is still there though!!!!

Dave, not driven it far yet but have been surprised at how 'tight' (ooh err) it feels and very light. Not as much low down torque as the hawk but a lot of punch at about 3000rpm. I think it's going to be a lot of fun!!!
