Default Google Glass - cool or gimmick?

Thought i'd post it in here as its partly photography related, but partly not.

Google Glass - the next generation of cool technology? Could it replace the smartphone? Trials are already running in the US, so if its a success it could be over here pretty soon i guess.

Like a head-up display in real-life. Bit weird, but we're already using the things that we thought would be impossible only 10 years ago....

Definaetly cool. The start of things to come... The science boffs are working on AR contact lenses already. ... Permanent undetectable AR.... Cool
