The old Essex trips to Brighton used to go from Pease down to Hickstead/Sayers Common, then come off and head down to Albourne and then out towards Devils Dyke that way, some nicer country roads. Then into Brighton via Dyke Road/Montpelier onto the seafront.

I have arranged with the organisers to join at the Rushfields Plant Centre on the A281 just down the road from the Ginger Fox Pub : https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@50.90...-0.2099419,15z

I would suggest we need to be there for 9:00am, so have updated as below.
The groups will be coming down in batches of 10-12 so there will be no rush to join as soon as they approach, just slot in where possible

Nope, the Ace Cafe thing was a properly organised event with the road closure in place.

This is just a big bunch of Subaru's turning up and parking on a normal day...

Oh blimey! You have to get into Brighton by about 8.30am on a sunny Saturday to have a hope of parking (or queue for hours when the multistoreys start one-in/one-out). That's why I go shopping in Crawley these days!

Mine needs more than a detail now, I scuffed the front corner last night putting the car away in the garage

Luckily the splitter took most of it but it just touched the wing and bumper too
