Default Hello from Sunny Westfield!

Hi

Pete here,

From the wonderfull East Sussex pastures of Westfield!

Drive a 96mdl V2 STI RA,
Done a few bits to it since ove owned it but in short its running on Toyo R888's on Inovits, Tein Coilovers (too bloody hard on the road - need to look at spring rates!), poly ARB bushes, P1 front splitter,Intake vent,De spoilered.

Since owning ive also fitted a Mocal 19 row cooler with thermo sandwich plate,
Fujisubu full 3" titanium system with a TSL 3" Sport cat, K&N Induction...
And also fitted the later 294 4 pots up front.

Best thing to date was fitting the 888's, if none of you have tried them and can afford to do so for summer use then do so, you will be blown away especially on track.

Oh and talking about track........

Been out there quite a few times now and must have done around 100 laps in all sorts of cars ive owned over the last few years.
How does 8.40 btg sound?
She behaved herself impeccably over there bar absolutely annihalating the front brakes - Tarox 294's with the 4 pots.
Hope to maybe see a few of you on Saturday at the Surrey Rolling Road.

Cheers Pete.

Pictures are flattering,

Its a 'warts & all' motor, plenty of dents, dings and scratches which give it character i suppose!
Underneath it is mint however and mechanically it is A1 which is the main thing.

Hello Pete long time no see. Im trying to get Crawf over there next year. Very good time by the way. Best time i got was a flat 9m gtg with my Scoob on P Zeros a very very lucky nobody about lap {never got near it again} At that point i had only done 6 laps of the ring. So will be looking to follow you around there mate if you can make next year.

Well hopefully Nige i will be going twice next year, already saving £100 a month for the trip,
Hope to take the Missus and Son out there next year too.

This year was an awesome year for us...
Mate Nic came over from Singapore as a surprise to Luke who came out in my Scoob who was getting married in a few weeks,Nic from Singapore couldnt get back for the Stag so he showed up outside our tents at 7.20am Sat morning!! Unbelievable!!
He hired a RB26R from RSR for 6 laps which he shared with Luke, they bought a couple of extra laps but only managed 7 as the front pads which were new in were down to the back plate!!,
He did a 8.20btg!!!!!!!!!!!!, i had a lap with him and the thing just stuck like nothing else round the bends, of course he was showing it absolutely no mechanical sympathy and the thing got an absolute f***ing hiding, we were pushing a race prep'd stripped caged Cayman S round, he had to let us through at Hohe Acht, despite him pushing so hard he had getting tankslappers through Kesselchen

All in all we had one guy end up in Hospital at the age of 27 with a suspected heart attack, one guy turn up from Singapore and no names mentioned one guy had a threesome with 2 German birds in Adenau!! Top trip!!

We'll ive been getting pretty p'd off with the paint on the car of late, different shades of white, dents and scratches etc etc so ive gone down a pretty radical route to make it look a bit different to the norm and cover the dents and scratches.
Going to be a bit marmite but all in it owes me £36 quid.
Bit of inspiration in the pic, its been a complete ballache doing it all freehand but it owe's me nothing, if i dont like it i can take it off!

Ha Ha Nige,

Crawf was actually saying go for it!!

Decided that i hated it!,

Ripped it all off now bar the roof, only thing is it took half the paint off the previously poorly painted different colour drivers side doors (part of the reason i thought id give it a go) so ive had to repaint the rear door

You can sleep again now Nige and so can McRae
