Default SES 2012 Photo Review & Thankyou

Firstly, thanks to all our members, new and old, that have seen us through another year in 2012.
In 2012 we have all been very busy, and the snapshot below captures most of the activities we have all played a part in.
We have had quite a busy year and without your attendance and support none of the below would of been possible.
Let's hope we continue to all enjoy SES, our car's, events and each other's company as we head towards 2013.
THANKYOU everyone........special thanks to all that have provided photo's throughout the year.

SES Meet - Sun 25th November 2012 - CANCELLED
Unfortunatley due to the weather and proposed low attendance this meet had to be cancelled.
Not to worry though, I think we all deserve a pat on the back for the attendance at all of the above.

SES Christmas Meal - Sat 15th Dec 2012 - The Anchor Inn, Barcombe
A nice meal was had by all at a great venue that we will be using again throughout 2013

Pistonheads Sunday Service, Goodwood - 16th Dec 2012

Great pics there Scott, Oliver & Co. made me realise how much I'd missed this year though

Could somebody email me the full quality version of the one of me at Goodwood, don't think I've seen it before!

I believe if you right click on the image you can get it yourself.

But I could be wrong.

Good write up Scott. Good & bad year for me car wise. Smashed my Evo after 3 years of making it go faster & ruining a perfectly good car. Glad to be back in a Scoob again though i did miss that burble. Just realised looking at some of the pics my Hawk has been with me a year now. Looking forward to the new year even though it has 13 in it. Ring trip will be very special this year

Thats a valid point, but a little harsh i feel (the previous comments are all positive....)

Of the members on SES competing in events (yourself, JGM & CJ off the top of my head) you've all done cracking jobs with your cars this year. But SES as a club, for whatever reason, has unfortunately not attended those events. If we'd taken 10+ scoobs along for a day out (as we normally do for SES Meets) then there would certainly be photos included in the review of the year. For example, of the track pics above. I think we took about 20 scoobs to Germany. And the Goodwood charity trackday was even more than that, with about 10 of us having track time. That was a real club day out

Its a shame we can't get to more, but as you can see we pretty much run an event or two every month and everyone has to balance this with work/family time. Travelling longer distances to events is expensive in fuel, hence why a lot of people don't want to travel to venues outside of the SES region. Myself and Scott (the current events organisers) also have to prioritise our time to organise meets/trips that will be well attended - hence we focus on things within the South East. We can't please everyone, but we do our best to please as many people as possible.

Several people do post up other events (such as the series you compete in). Please keep doing so, as its the best way to raise awareness and you never know, it only needs a few people to raise their hand and that'll spark more interest. I'm sure there's plenty of members who'd like to watch this sort of stuff, but don't go through worry of travelling a hundred miles only to be standing there on their own for the day! If you get a group wanting to go, then great stuff
