Time to put you all out of your misery........

Audi A4 (B7) S-Line 2.0TFi Quatrro Avant......

2.0 Turbo (Petrol)
S-Line Spec
Full Black/Grey Leather
Heated Seats
Heated Screen
Refurbed Alloys
2 Owners, Full Service History (mainly Audi dealer)

I told you it was sensible.........well about as sensible as I can get.
I wasn't aiming for a Quattro and was even undecided whether to go Petrol or Diesel. This came up so thought I'd give it a try.

Will it be getting RS4 Alloys, de-chromed and a visit to AMD for a remap.....what do you think

Bet it feels luxury after the scoob doesn't it!

What power can you get from them with just an AMD map? Know they're roughly 200bhp standard?

v.Nice daily driver and a grown up solid car. A trip to AMD and 260bhp/300ft/lb with very little lag. Job done. You Just need a garage queen toy to compliment it some time

My baby is back...... and driving it back today was like climbing back in bed with with your first love, and just as tight as I remember
Audi is the daily drive and Scoob is the toy to 'float my boat'.

And yes it still carries it's scare of red rumble strip paint on the tow-hook from the 2009 Ring Trip.

I was starting to look for a classic and the more I looked the more I realised I had done so much to the old one, and didn't really want to start from scratch again.
So thought that maybe it was worth getting back.
It wasn't up for sale, but threw the owne a cheaky PM via S'net and a deal was done. Picked it up today from Rayleigh.

Nice one Scott,

Talk about Nige being secret fooking squirrel

You had me worried for a while I thought you'd lost the plot either that you had suddenly aged to being older than me and Nige .

I bet I know what youre doing tomorrow.

Oh well done mate, really chuffed for you. Claire saw this thread the other day and wondered why you'd sold the hawk and I told her i knew you wanted your classic back.

Great that the owner was willing to do a deal.

Nice one Scott. And pretty much 2 for the price of one I'm guessing. The 2 car thing seems to be the way to go to tick every box. If you get the Audi mapped I can see you going for the Audi keys most times, and scoob just for meets, or fair weather weekends.... So given time I can see the scoob only getting better with more shinney stuff and paint underneath.

I knew your plans, but for a while thought you might end up with an old school ford for the garage...

Just seen this post (thanks Steve). You briefly mentioned this when we last spoke Scott but I didn't know it was definitely on to get your old scoob back. Fantastic news - it is a stunning example and I'm glad it's back to its true home!
