What does Twitter do that the numerous other forums, facbook, text etc don't? Is it me, or is theere too much electronic bleating of nonsense on the internet.

Maybe my career path was a bad choice.

Yeah i am on facebook but causes problems with work due to what i do. Have been turned down for contracts because of having a facebook page. The williness of people, myself included, to put data out on the internet so easily is going to bite us in the backside one day, people are starting to realise that once something is posted it is there potentially for life.

Anyway back to the real world.

It's all just 'Electronic Shouting'......99% of it unnecessary.
What ever happened to the weekly/monthly/yearly telephone catch-up call to friends and family.

Do we really have to register every intake of breath, we all have to take to survive, on an electronic medium.

Not sure what you do Si, but I've had friends who have had similar issues.

Twitter, etc. can be handy, provided you filter out the nutters.

Bit like real life socialising, networking, etc. Be careful who you interact with!

I only really use Twitter for work, so unless you're interested in tax and accountancy matters, you won't benefit following me!
