Default Total Impreza magazine.

Checking their website this morning

`The company has entered into voluntary liquidation and has appointed liquidators to deal with the Company’s affairs.`

At least I only had a couple of issues to go before subscription renewal!

No loss IMHO, only to those that have paid and not received.

I enjoyed looking at the pictures and spotting all the spelling mistakes in the 3 issues I did receive.....

Certainly not the greatest mag in the world, glad i didn't pay full price for my subscription, although it still worked out a £9 per magazine considering i've only received two copies

Spelling mistakes are easily made...

If it seems that everything is coming your way.... Your on the wrong side of the road!

Should that not be "You're"?

Typographical errors and poor proof reading aside I thought it was okay. It was written by enthusiasts, which meant I forgave them a fair bit.

A lot of magazines are going that way. In ten years ,if that, it will all be electrical. Redline closed recently, my favourite car mag by a mile. Was gutted. Sad to see IMHO.

I'm pretty sure that 'your' IS spelt correctly. It is a grammatical error in that quote and not a spelling mistake.....

We could quibble over the semantics of whether having the wrong word is a spelling error or a grammatical error. I was only mucking about.

It seemed ironic the comment you made in light of the error in your signature.

Sorry if it caused offence. That could not have been further from my intention.

But yeah, shame. Not sure how many people they employed over the group of magazines and whether they're all out of a job now, guess so....

If there's any confusion about correct use of your/you're, I hope Mac Lethal here can clear things up...

Ha, no worries no offence was taken!

If you managed to pick that mistake out on here you could have a field day on scoobynet...... you need an urban dictionary at hand to decipher a lot of the posts on there Innit!

If there's a spelling test as part of the application process then I'll give it a miss!

Also got the letter. I was 2 magazines into a 2 yr, so might be worth a punt too. How much was a 2 yr subscription in the first place? didn't pay full price as it was an auction on Hammonds Subaru website for charity, but can't remember what i paid for that either....

Doesn't that mean your money went to charity and the mag probably donated the subscription?

I suppose if you've had the letter you're considered a creditor, just seems unusual.

Yeah, does seem unusual. Maybe they're just got a subscriptions address list but have no idea how much each person is owed, hence the mailshot. Thinking about it, i won't bother claiming anything, i can't prove i sent money directly to Total Car Magazines even if i wanted to!
