Default World Rallycross, Lydden Hill - Saturday 28th/Sunday 29th May
I can't see a thread for this, so I thought I'd pop one up.

Saturday 28th May and Sunday 29th May is the fourth Round of the World Rallycross Championship at Lydden. Solberg, Loeb, Ekstrom, Block and Foust all racing round in 600 BHP rallycross cars: why wouldn't you want to see that?

If you haven't been to Lydden before then its a great circuit to watch as you can pretty much see the whole circuit from any point on the track. Its just down the road from Dover; so to get there is only a quick blast down the M2 or M20 for most Surrey folk!

Saturday will be the first sets of heats, with the remaining heats and the all important finals on Sunday!

As you say its always brilliant event.

Finals on the Sunday and not the Monday ?

The forecast is looking quite promising

Yeah. I believe there is an insistence from the FiA that the World rounds have to follow a Saturday/Sunday format rather than Sunday/Monday.

So don't go on Monday, or you won't see much racing!

Ok cheers, this must be the first year then?

Still it frees up Bank holiday Monday now ..

Agreed! Brilliant weekend of racing and some lovely classics in the paddock as well. All good apart from the sunburn!
