Does anybody turn off their AC before they accelarate to overtake or is it just me?

I never have it on.... windows all down listening to the flat 4 sound track for me

Lol, me too. Cant remember the last time I had it on. Stereo off, air con off, windows down.

I had to have mine on Sunday, the wife was beginning to melt .

Otherwise I cook with the window open too.

i had it removed from both of mine as it gives me an excuse to have the windows open, plus i've heard that its stops working when you boot it in a scoob anyway so that you get the full power.

dont bother with air con, just have the windows down and have the flap open in the roof and listen to the engine lol

i always recomend getting rid if you never use it, weight also you have a a/c rad. if you put a fmic on means that you have two cooling cores untill air passes to the radiator witch imo can only be a bad thing.
