Default think my engine is dead

Hi guys....this past week the car has been unhappy to start...sort of fires up then dies then at a 2nd go fires up...but abit lumpy.
I took maf off to clean and noticed alot of oil....I went to back of the car and noticed small oil splats over boot and bumber...
Car dosent smoke....but does stink of fuel....
today the lumpyness has got worst and car has lost power... have I done a piston ring??

Idk about your engine ,, i do know mafs are really fragile and even a squirt of electrical cleaner can kill them ,, could it be the maf has just died ?

No that's maff, or boost leak or simply coolant temp sensor,
Wouldn't think it's dead buddy

it may not be oil.
If the car smells of fuel, it may be unburnt fuel going through the exhaust and picking up the soot from in the exhaust pipes on the way to the exit

Rebuild it

You should have a CDB, unless its been changed already. Finding a working CDB engine will be hard. Non CDB easy, everyone sells them.

My V1 has a non CDB in it at the mo, as its sat on floor in the shed waiting to be stripped and rebuilt.
