Default The princess and the pea !

I knew something wasnt right with that seat !!!

All fixed now with genuine subaru foam from mortsters sti rear bench seat bargain and much comfier ,,, i redid the repair in the foto but thicker and bigger so now it feels comfy and no ironwork digging in my leg ,,, itll do till i find a seat base at a good price or buy an electric carving knife and shape a whole bolster from my foam stock

I guess classics are at that age/mileage now where foam is getting tired

its actually a really fun material to work with - I adrew on my past expertise of watching the upholstery guy in pimp my ride all those years ago ! using a bread knife and being patient I was getting perfect cuts

ive come across quite a few repairs before and many like this one done with the wrong sort of foam which soon compresses and isn't as strong as the oem type hence uncomfortable l

my best option for a perfect seat is to find a passenger seat foam as theyre usually less sat in then the drivers
