Default classic exhaust onto newage????

can you just remove the third hanger back on a classic ninja 11 or afterburner tailpipe to make it fit a newage,or will it not be secure enough and move about a lot

I would think you can as I had a newage Afterburner on my classic and we just cut the hanger off, and it was fine.
