Default British Rallycross Championship R4 - Lydden Hill
The weekend before last was the fourth round of the British Rallycross Championship, held just down the road at Lydden Hill.

The August rallycross events at Lydden are normally pretty big events, but I was a little unsure what to expect this year as drifting and FMX had been added to the line up as well. It was actually really well run though, with the extras being added into the lunchbreak and other down time, rather than moving valuable racing time around.

Anyway, enough chat, here be pictures!

Excuses... Pity you didn't make it down as there were a couple of really good races during the day (including a flipping Civic!), plus the drifting was excellent to watch as well.

As promised, a few pictures of the drifting from Lydden as well. There was suppose to be a competition to round off the weekend but, due to time restrictions, it basically turned into a drifting free-for-all!

Great chance to see some top drift machinery up close though, including my two fave drift cars in the UK at present.
