Default Live life to the full

Lost a close friend to cancer on Monday night, a friend that I have known since primary school. He would have been 42 this year!

He went to the doctors for a stomache ache and was given 6months left to live! He tried but didn't even get the 6 months!

Really puts things in to perspective, none of us know whats round the corner, enjoy life guys.......... anyone dealing with the same sort of issues has my full sympathies.....

Sorry to hear that Ron.

You never really know what's round the corner and just have to hope it never happens to someone close......

sorry for your loss.
Don't think i've mentioned it on here before but my wife passed away 4yrs ago.
Took her 2yrs from first diagnosis till she went and I can honestly say I don't know if it was better to have had the 2yrs or if it would have been better if she had went quicker.
The thing that kept me going was remembering that no matter what, there's always someone else out there who has it worse.

I met someone else and have twins now. Life goes on.
No advice anyone can give you other than to say you just deal with things how you feel is best for you.

Sorry to read this mate, as well as the other experiences people have had.

A work colleague of mine died not so long ago and was the least deserving person of what befell him.

That made me realise all the things I get hung up on are for the most part nonsense. I still catch myself being a dick about things every now and again, but I learned a lot from that experience.

Even if you get a full innings, life's too short!

Ron I'm very sorry for your loss mate and wish the family my condolences. Andy-m my heart goes out to you my friend, I lost my mum 2 years ago to pancreatic cancer and still haven't dealt with it really, my mum and dad were foster carers for 20+years and still can't really deal with the fact that my mum looked after so many kids but will never meet my own. Like Ron said....live life people you really don't know what's round the corner.

Lost both my parents to cancer in less than a 2 year window last year and was there all the way for them every day through a very traumatic process right till the end at home in my dads case and in care in my mums case.

Dark times and something that will remain with me for the rest of my life and has given me a very profound outlook on life and really opens your eyes to what matters in life.

People often don't realise the pain and trauma, family/friends go through.. so utterly feel for you and his family.
