Default name the castle in east sussex

I had to do a site survey in east sussex today and on the way back from hastings, there was a castle ruin right by the roadside and at one point, it slightly overhung the road on a bend which I guess would be a problem for tall lorries. It was either the A22 or A21 as i;m not sure which way the satnav took me.

Anyways, i;m trying to find it on google maps to show the mrs, but as I was just following the satnav, I don;t know where exactly it was !
I know a few of you live down that nexk of the woods, so any ideas what the castle was called ?
