JRM at Sebring
JRM Racing photo blog from the 12-hours of Sebring Is this email not displaying correctly? View it in your browser. JRM Racing make a solid start to FIA World Endurance campaign in Sebring 12-hours This year's 12-hours of Sebring was one special race. Not only was it the 60th running of this prestigious event, but for JRM Racing it marked their first competitive outing in the new Honda Performance Development (HPD) ARX-03a - the Le Mans Prototype model that the team will be taking through the inaugural FIA World Endurance Championship.
After a flawless first nine-hours of the race - which saw JRM Racing biting at the heels of the leading Audis - an unfortunate suspension issue in the final three-hours saw the team slip down the field, eventually finishing in a still respectable 7th in the LMP1 categor and 17th overall. Not bad at all for a field of 64 cars, certainly considering this was the first race in the new car for JRM Racing. JRM Racing go into the second round of the World Endurance Championship at Spa, Belgium, lying 12th in the Championship standings. But what Sebring did was provide the team with invaluable experience to take forward in the Championship. Now the team are back in the factory, preparation is already underway to maximise the potential of the car at the second round in Spa. So as the team prepare for the legendary Spa six-hours, we've got a selection of pictures from Sebring to share.
