Test drove and paid the deposit this morning on this little beauty!

Classy is the reason I went for it in the end.

I am getting out to see a few more new clients as of late. And though I love my scooby dearly, it doesn't give the right image for a director of a print company, when I pitch up in it to take a client for lunch!

I pissed the salesman off a bit this morning. He asked if I was trading in the scooby (and I was praying for this question just for my answer) to which I happily stated..........

........ No, I want to have something quick for the weekends!

His face was a picture

Thats a lovely car mate. I prefer it to the soft top, and the colour is spot on. Not in ya face, which is why I got the scooby

"........ No, I want to have something quick for the weekends! "

Thats quality. I remember when the New Golf GTi came out and I went and test drove one, the salesman said "before you put your foot down I must warn you this is almost 200BHP". I stuck my foot down and replied "yeah, it feels about 50% down on power!

I only paid £21,000.00 for mine.

32k on the clock, all the whistles and bells plus some. That's a lot of dough in this this climate for sure, but what I would have paid for mine 6-8 months ago!!! That's why I snapped their arms off at the price

The strange thing was, that it was never one of mine.

Initially I just knew the worth of it and the complete and utter bargain I was getting. But my god it is an awesome car.

I really get the comment that Rob made he other day about wanting a different kind of power and being slightly bored with the all or nothing of the turbo cars. It is real deep down grunt that makes it so different. And completely bullet proof too.

I really really get them now.
