Probably my favourite car of all time....... The awesome Audi S1 Group B.
(exactly the same Bhp as I am curretly running....... 560)

A road going version of the S1. and what a beauty!

An engine that is just pure music to the ears.
(whack the volume up for the last 10 seconds of the clip)

On the Colin Mcrae day, RCM auctioned a ride (for charity) from Prodrive HQ to there test track. A scottish guy won paying £ 300.00
This is a short clip from inside the GS. (Keep your eyes on the white lines)

StevePPP: The TF/FC (Top Fuel Funny Cars) of today need to be witnessed in real life!. I have been a big fan of these for many years. If I had the money I would be racing them now but huge sponsorship is required.
Nitro Methane last year was around the £ 47 per gallon and the TF's today doing a burnout followed by the quarter mile use between 14 & 16 gallons per run.
NOTHING in motorsport compares to Fuelers !!

Majorscooby / Nige: Yep the Audi S1 is up the top of my list too.

I have been lucky as I used to crew for Steve Palmer when he had his Metro 6R4 and have had many great days in the company of Group B cars.
Been to many rallies in the past too when the Group B's were about in the late 80's. There was just something about the S1 that was cool. They never won many rallies believe it or not but what a car.

Saddest day in rallying when they were banned. I like the WRC but not a patch on the Group B monsters. Proper blokes toys they were
