Default [SOLVED] Rear droplinks STI fitting problem

Hi,

Car is 2006 STI Spec D. The rear drop links looks like this http://www.camskill.co.uk/products.p...0b0s2695p49960

I'm having trouble removing the rear drop links. When I try to undo the nut it seems the whole spindle bit turns and so it doesn't actually undo. Tried plenty of wd40 and cleaning the threads but it just won't undo. Am I missing something?

Andy

At the end of the spindle you should be able to put an allen key in, hold the allen key and turn the nut, thats how it worked on my front droplinks

Just in case anyone has a similar problem...

On the rear drop links as the picture in the first post, you need a 14mm socket for the nut and a 14mm spanner to hold the spindle part from turning. Looking again at the picture (with my new found knowledge!) you can just about see the black part that has two flats that allows the spanner to be used to stop the spindle turning.
