Default 3 port solenoid

As I'm not holding boost I've got a Perrin 3 port boost solenoid,I'm also sorting a better turbo, question is if I fit the 3 port boost now how much hassle will it cause till she's back with Duncan for mapping on the 8th of October.
Or should I wait till nearer the time to fit along with turbo if it turns up ?
