Default Greetings!

Hello Folks, joined here last week but hadn't picked up the car so waited until i had the keys and managed to 'arrive alive' home before i posted my introduction!

Anyways, my name is Tom and have just purchased a Bug-eye'd Impreza STi..... I've done a bit of digging and think this car may have been owned by someone on here a couple of owners ago?? Registration is C2 GCJ.... ring any bells!?

I'll stick the spec up when i can work out what has and hasn't been done to her, i don't know what state of tune it was in when it was when the owner here sold it but a recent dyno is showing 387Bhp and 390lb torque - i know a few of the mods included an EJ25 block, td05 20g turbo, fmic, simtek ecu along with other supporting bits and bobs, the handling setup is pretty much spot on.

Got some plans for the future but nothing too excessive for now.... the only thing i've done since i've had her is a poppy coral air freshener!

Got a few technical questions but will ask those in the relevant threads.... fingers crossed i'm not going to find out anything majorly wrong with the car but seems a pretty decent example!

I'll be as sociable as i can on here and at meets depending on work so for now... Hello! :-p

Hi and welcome to SES
Yep Nige will be able to tell you all about the car.
One thing I can tell you it performed superbly well on our trip to the Nurburgring 2 years ago.

Ah, good to see it back on here with a new owner.

Its still looking a great motor, Nige took me for a quick spin in it a few years back when I was new to Imprezas and did a fairly good job of scaring the crap outta me

ha ha! On the M4 on the way home when i picked it up, someone decided to start trying to drive up the exhaust, i gave it a bit of a squirt in 4th which led to 3 things.... a visit to a petrol pump, some new pants and an air freshener in the car for the next time i unwittingly inflicted a 'code brown' situation on myself!!

Thanks for the welcome, any info will be much appreciated! the cars clearly been looked after, i saw a lot of cars in my quest for an impreza.... this one stood out a mile and i'm chuffed to bits with it!

Luckily i have a daily driver and drive at work too so this will be more than looked after and the only abusing will be done to the bank balance!
