Default Anti roll bar bush

Any help welcome.

Rear anti roll bar was clunking and found the following culprit out of its bracket.

Can this be refitted or is that split not meant to be there?

2003 WRX STI Type UK

Thank you!

I have had a reply stating that these normally come with a split otherwise they are impossible to get on.

So what could be the cause for it slipping out of its bracket? I have already refitted it once and it slipped out again after 2 days.

I was thinking maybe it was worn to the point where it just doesn’t have the width to keep itself in place but all seems right when I placed it back in its bracket?

Most likely as you say it’s sufficently worn/degraded to be able to work free. Polybushes are around £25-30 OE spec ones £10 -£15 and I think the group N ones could be had from ICP for around £20

it looks fairly worn so probably simply old and out of shape.......

Honestly you are unlikely to get a better price/service/quality than calling Alyn.

Thanks for your replies, I ended up ordering a replacement set of poly bushes the same evening. Next time I will ask you first Alyn!

Cheers
