The starting time will be 09.00..

I will have to check with Dave how many staff he has got working on this Saturday, this will determine how many scoobs can be done in an hour.

For the Geo.
The order of people on the list will determine the order that you go on the ramps.

If you are having dents done the same applies, but the dent guys are more flexible.

I have spoken to Dave today,

For the geo,

He says that he is hoping to be able to complete 5 to 6 scoobs an hour.

So if your number 7 you need not be there untill just before 10.00am unless you wish to come and spectate.

Is there any interest from anyone wishing to have the wheel refurb man there??
As it may be possible for him to attend.

The dent guys will also be there from 09.00

Default Can't make this now

Due to a scheduling problem i'm not going to be able to attend.

Hopefully somebody is waiting in the wings to fill a drop out slot.

I'm number 12 on the list.

Very sorry if this causes any inconvenience.

Dean

I will be flexible on my slot as will be tweaking Frenchies car 1st, so may not be back in time. I aim to get there for 8:30-9:00 then jump straight into Frenchies.

Sorry for no-one putting any kind of prices up for this.

Not my bag this year.

As a guide, last years prices are as below. I am sure they won't be too much different.

With regards the paint guys, I will be brutally honest and say try to source a different way of doing it. My paint on two rear bumper corners lasted 2 years tops. This is fine if you turn cars round like Rob vut if you are keeping long term I would advise against.

If you need it doing properly, Dave Hollamby had my rear bumper sprayed by a local paint shop for £200.00 cash. Ask him if he point you in the right direction.

Any way, onto the costs.........

2009 PRICES

The full price list for the day is as follow:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Geo Set Up @ £40.00 + VAT (half hour time slots)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dents @ £25.00 per panel

Paint @ £50.00 per corner

Wheel Refurb @ £35.00 - £40.00 per wheel

All of the above ARE negotiable if you are having multiples done of anything. These are the prices for just 1 panel / corner / wheel.
Get your bartering heads on if you have more than one of anything to do.

Well done steve, I didnt want to post prices as new I only had last years too. The dent guys are magic. Cant talk for the paint guys as had nothing done by them. They did offer to do my wheels for £150 last year, but I wanted to get a few coats of primer, paint an laquer on so they would last. Although from what I saw of crazyjack's wrx, they looked pretty good.

In fairness, I should point out that I think the wheel guys do a great job. That part seems to stand up well.

It's just the paint on the body work thats not 100% in my opinion

Duly noted and thanks for the pointer. I'm not sure if I am bringing the Scoob or the Saab at the moment. But if I bring the saab I'm looking to get the bumper scuff sorted on the Saab, along with a Pin dent. So long at its lasts a wee while I'd be happy.

Thumbs up

Well the dent guys successfully removed the couple of dents I'd got and some others they found - luckily in the same panels so no extra cost. £40 well spent.
Big thanks to the organisers.
