Default Had enough of coil overs

Hi All,

Firstly, car in question is GC8 Type R Ver 5 1999.

Reason for taking them off, the car is only a road car, and will never go on track so it does not need all the firmness and adjustability that coil overs offer.
so my choice is.

KYB AGX bump and rebound adjustable gas shocks/struts.

Genuine Subaru Impreza GC8 Sti Ver 5 6 and P1 red inverted shock absorber/strut kit.

Pedders EziFit sports Ryder Lowering Kit.

The Pedders would be the easier option as it comes complete with springs and top mounts, but I am unsure if they are inverted, and what the spring rates are that they come with. (I am awaiting a reply from them)

The Genuine shock absorbers seem the best option as they are advertised as inverted.

Although I am unsure why Inverted is better but that is what I have read.

Any comments advice or just your opinion would be much appreciated.

Yours PJ

Heard good thinks about pedders from a few p1 owners. You could go for p1 strut but your pay alot for them and thats if you can get them...

for value for money the Pedders are a no brainer, have supplied lots of these kits and very straight forward.............they are std non-inverted struts

technically the inverted style is stronger but unless your banging kerbs on track, etc. then most will never notice or require.........

Not scooby related but i've had Pedders coilovers on my Monaro & Maloo and really rate them, also had Pedders lowering springs on the VXR8 and they were great
