Default Scooby done

Was out today all running ok, then car decided to stall & starter just clicking I'm hoping it's just a knackered starter motor & the engine hasn't seized

Anyway had to park up about 2 miles from home, will go back tomorrow to get it out (ooh Matron) this will of course involve taking the bleeping intercooler off & I won't be able to source a new one till Mon.

The GTB Legacy starters are not the same as an Impreza I am led to believe,so sourcing the right one ( manual G/box) could be a P.I.T.A.

I will now miss the Mikeys diner meet tomorrow, turning up in a renault trafic van wouldn't be the same.

if anyone on here has any info regarding Legacy GTB starters (>98) I would appreciate it

Check the pushed on crimped connection on the end of the starter, as sometimes these can fall off.

If it stalled and stuttered whilst running it won't be the starter - it will most likely be an electrical issue, either battery or alternator
