Simon,
I may have some sti standard drop links, and trailing arms, and arbs from a narrow track newage STi. Not sure I have the lateral links but I can check

Now I may have to either get a bugeye 24mm rear bar, or go to 2004 sti rear lateral arms off a saloon which was my long term plan.

This is the best bit after some laps on the Ring. Get back to the hotel safe, and know that you've got nothing to do all evening except chill, drink some beers, eat some food, and have some laughs. Can't wait.

yeah, i've dialled in a bit of bum down oversteer handling. though i think a 24mm bar is going to get ordered before the nightis out. 27mm puts a lot of strain on things.

call me capt. sensible, I went for the Yoko AD08's as a good all rounder. surely 888's will start inducing stress on components on lightly modded impreza's? Problems with oil in breathers etc? Chassis etc?

still learning Scooby stuff. used to run slicks on my m3 (road tyres lasted about 3 or 4 laps of brands) had to do some chassis mods and did have a cage fitted.

yeah I have been 24*7 on the Scoob this week. Pleased with the tyres as got them for £465 ish fitted (225/45/17). 888's were going to be a lot more and I would have had to fit them, that would have taken me 2 days in itself and I am rubbish at fitting tyres.

Cheers for that, hold that thought for now as I am still deciding what to do. I'm probably just going to stick the correct 24mm bar in for now and be done with it. Am started to get fed up with working and spending money on the car at the moment, so may do the wider rear suspension next year.

It's mad that on the official site it says Saturday morning could be minus4 with sleet or snow and last year I burnt to a crisp...

Hope the weather changes for the better for you guys

Sunday morning is looking like snow again but it changes so much. Saturday and Monday look alright, theres the odd shower but the rainfall is so low (less than 0.5mm) that it won't last long.

After hooning round Goodwood in the rain, i'm not fussed - these cars are made for it and it'll be a laugh overtaking some RWD supercars that are struggling to put the power down

It's a bit different out there though Steve. It's still slippy, just because of the idiots who drop fluids on the track regularly. It'll be better on normal road tyres for sure, 888's could be a huge waste of time and petrol getting them there though.

I honestly hope it changes for you, it did for us

I haven't a clue what to pack. I've got everything laid out on the bed from vest tops, shorts and tshirts to long sleeved tops, jeans and full on thick wooly jumpers. I'm fairly sure half of it will come back unworn, I just hope I don't need the ski jacket I'm taking!
