Default Goodyear Eagle F1 variances

I am trying to work out the differences in the Eagle F1 tyres.
Need a set of 4 as my current ones are like hollywood tyres and scream just looking at a corner.

Both of these are Eagle F1 tyres, and same specs.
Why do they look so different?
Whats the difference between these?
Thanks all

Top one is the Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2, bottom one is the Eagle F1 GS D3

Agreed.

Also to add, the GS D3s are directional whereas the asymmetric 2s are not just inside and outside.

I and several others are using the Asymmetric 2s

I've only experience of the 2s, they are very good.

Especially in wet conditions, it hammered it down when driving down to Lyon on my recent trip and gave a positive feel all the time, they also give excellent grip in the dry, I would not hesitate in getting another set.

The bottom ones are OLD and well passed there sell by date, if you seem them cheap its because people are trying to shift their old stock, they are a good tyre, but not as good as the newer version. I personally would not buy 5 year old rubber.. unless its a suit

I also have the 2's and would not use anything else. I also get a lot less road noise than I did with the earlier F1.

I'm also running the 2's as well. I had a thread about tyres not too long ago on this forum, have a look on that. I narrowed it down to a few choices then went for the 2's because they offered what I wanted at the best price.

Also running the F1 asym 2's but on the supra and highly recommend them.... better grip with slightly higher pressures than I'd usually run....not sure if this is characteristic of the tyres or the car?

Will be replacing the Michelin pilots on the juke with the goodyears too

You dont want to run 45 profile on 18s it will be too big, on a classic you should be running 35/18 anyway 40/18 on newage

It's the correct size if your running 18's on a classic, personally I would try to get something in 17" that fits over the brakes and some 40 profile rubber will drive nicer
